Who we are
We are dedicated to solving the problems people face when they are seeking help with their mental health.
Our story
Spicy Minds was set up by Ben Cosh in response to his own experience of these issues.
In 2016, a family member was struggling with their mental health, and it was affecting all aspects of family life.
No NHS services could help, private support was too expensive, and books and social networks were overwhelming. Ben did extensive research to find apps and technology that might help, but there was nothing suitable. It took several years to understand what was going on.
Eventually, with diagnoses of autism, anxiety, and complex PTSD, life stabilised with some therapy and important adjustments. It could have been so much easier.
Thousands of families have similar experiences, and it puts massive pressure on the individual and the people closest to them.
What if there was technology out there that could help with the assessment and support process for struggling people, their families, and the professionals around them?
From all of this, Spicy Minds was born.
